The name of our farm - "Sosnowa Kraina" (Pine Land) is derived from the variety of pine called the Mast Pine (also known as Suprasl Pine), which is everywhere around the farm. What makes this tree unique is the height of straight stem in the shape of an arrow. These features have made the Suprasl Pine one of the best building material in Europe. In the XVI - XVIII century the Mast Pine was a valued material in Western Europe in the mast production for ships. It was floated by the Suprasl, Narew, Bug, Wisla river right up to Gdansk. Till now, the pine because of it's genetic, technical and ecological properties is a valuable natural, raising object.
